Essay

The thesis is devoted to an improved method of preliminary contour blasting which prevents out-of-the-contour mass destruction and ensures quality treatment of the extraction bottom at the design level. This result is achieved due to the use of newly designed shaped charges together with slow blasting. The main parameters of drilling blasting work have been determined for the case when two-stage shaped charges combined with double-sided charges are situ-ated at the bottom of ripping and contour holes.
