Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the influence of nanodimentional structures of carbonates and silicates on the colloid-chemical properties of ferrooxides in the mining and smelting slurries in the conditions of their concentration and processing. There were studied the processes of the structure formation in concentrated ferrooxide-carbonate-silicate slurries under the influence of carbon dioxode of atmosphere and under the influence of the water mineralization of NaCl. There is shown that the natural minerals the more make influence on the slurry stability, the more the slurry has nanoparticles. On the ground of the discovered behavior there were proposed and used in the industry the technologies of mud grouting of the mine mineralized water ponds, the technologies of elimination from slurries of ultradispersed zinc and lead compounds, of concentration and separation of slurries, their briquetting with lime-carbon dust or with the oilcovered roll scale.
