Об'єкт дослідження - criminal procedure legal relations arising as a result of committing of crimes in the places of confinement. Мета дисертації - engineering problems of accomplishment of investigation and pre-trial inquest in the places of confinement. Наукова новизна - features of conducting of preliminary check of the information about crimes accomplished in the places of confinement for the first time are defined; are generalized and the tactical features of conducting of separate investigatory actions in the places of confinement are systematized; have received the further development of the recommendation on revealing the reasons and conditions promoting committing of crimes in the places of confinement.
