Essay

The offered method allows to limit area of a methane filtration, to calculate the coefficient of permeability in its each point, to define parameters of sources of a methane emission in stope and adjoining roadways on the basis of design data about the stressedly-deformed state of coal-rock mass. The developed method yields the authentic results conterminous qualitatively and quantitatively with known theoretical and practical data. Developed algorithm and model allowed conducting numerical investigations of different relationships of methane filtration. In particular, dependences of change of filtration parameters on factor of unloading of roof soils on a rock pressure and an advance rate of longwall are received. Scientific results is developed and introduced at “Krasnoarmeyskaya-Zapadnaya №1”. The economic benefit of introduction of this method is obtained.
