The dissertation is devoted to improvement of diagnostics and treatment efficacy of chronic alcoholic pancreatitis (CAP) on the background of obesity. Pain syndrome is characteristic for the clinic of the combined pathology. Clinical manifestation of pancreatic exocrine insufficiency has developed in 10,0% of cases. As by results of the fecal elastase test pancreatic excretory function remains normal in more than half of the patients. In most cases there are detected phenomenon of pancreatic enzymes "deviation" to blood and signs of pancreatic juice outflow disorders. Hyper- and dyslipidemia, biochemical signs of concomitant chronic alcoholic hepatitis are characteristic. Pancreatitis sonographic symptoms are non-specific. Significant changes of blood and urine physicochemical properties take place in combined pathology. The treatment scheme including citrarginine and atoxil promotes a decrease of clinical manifestations and functional disorders of pancreas and liver, helps to correct blood lipid profile and to improve sonographic results.
