Bobro M. Psychic disorders in the patients with first revealed pulmonary tuberculosis (clinic picture, diagnostics, correction).

By means of complex investigation 142 patients with first revealed pulmonary tuberculosis were observed. In 102 patients there were revealed psychic disorders which may be divided into the following taxons (F43.21, F06.30, F06.6, F06.4, F43.25). In there forms of pathology there were leading syndromes such as: depressive 35,3%, hypomania 16,7%, asthenia 22,5%, anxious 15,7%, psychopathologic like 9,8%. The role of social-demographic factors in formation of psychic disorders: male gender and age less than 30 years and more than 50 were defined. On the basis of experimental-psychological and social-psychological investigations it was determined the impact of a disease on the important spheres of life of the patients (work, social life and leisure, on family relations as well). Severity of depressive and anxious of symptoms was evaluated, personal peculiarities were studied, type of attitude to the disease was investigated, data on a level of life quality of the patients with first revealed tuberculosis were obtained. Developed and introduced stage-by-stage system of correction allowed to substantially improve psychic state and life quality of the patients and significantly increase treatment efficacy of the basic disease. This was confirmed by a positive dynamics of tuberculosis process.
