Yevtushenko V. Improvement of the technology of the flax straw spreading wich the use of mechanical and chemical processing

The subject of inquiry is the process of obtaining of the linen stock by spreading of the flax straw stacks. The inquiry objective is the development of the improved technology of obtaining flax fiber by spreading of the stacks of the flax straw which would promote improvement of the fiber's quality and shortening of the terms of stock production. The methods of statistical processing of the results of the experimental investigations, the methods of evaluation of the quality changes of the product, which are defined by the Government standards were used. The possibility of obtaining flax stock by spreading of the flax straw stacks with the use of mechanical and chemical treatment was proved, the general regularities of the process of treatment of the flax straw stacks were studied, the intensifying influence of flatting and treatment with composite chemicals on the quality characteristics of the product were disclosed. On the basis of the theoretical and experimental investigations an effective technology of obtaining flax fiber by spreading of the flax straw stacks, which allows to improve the qualitative indexes and shorten the terms of the stock's aging was developed.
