Conversion treatment of galvanizing coatings in the tannin containing solutions. The aim: an establishment the scheme of formation of conversion coating, definition of the character of influence on process of oxidants and water-soluble synthetic polymers, definition of protective properties of researched conversion coatings and designing of the technology of conversion treatment of a zinc surface. Methods of research: voltammetry, chronopotenenciommetry, gravimetric method of a thermografy and termogravimetry, colorimetric. The scheme of formation of conversion coating on zinc from the tannin containing solutions was developed. The structure of coating was obtained. The influence of soluble synthetic polymers, Cu (II) and Ni (II) and anions - oxidants on kinetic of formation of conversion coatings and electrochemical behaviour of zinc surface treated in tannin solutions was investigated. The new technology of conversion treatment of a zinc surface in the tannin containing solutions is designed and examined, approved and inculcated in electroplating. It provides obtaining decorative conversion coatings with high protective properties. Sphere of employing: electrochemistry, electroplating
