Lexico-semantic group of audiovisual verbs horen "to hear", sehen "to see". The aim is to define the peculiarities of the development of semantics of German verbs with an audiovisual meaning. The methods are: comparative-historical, the method of probabilistic-statistic analy is. The stock-taking of the lexico-semantic group sehen/horen in modern German was carried out for the first time. The development of semantics of words with an audiovisual meaning in different periods of the German language existence enriches lexico-semantic investigations. The usage: in theoretical courses of lexicology and history of the German language, in special courses. The sphere of usage - higher school.
