Essay

The research subject is the process of complex technological object control. The research aim is the improvement of operationability and quality of the main pipeline complex control on the basis of functional knowledge-oriented dispatching control model. The research is based on the production and frame models of knowledge representation and also on the basic concepts of KADS-methodology. The methods of knowledge processing and mining were also used. The main results of the dissertation work are the functional knowledge-oriented model of the main pipeline complex dispatching control, production-frame knowledge models on the pipeline electrochemical protection process control, and also the expert system for automated workstation of dispatching control of electrochemical pipeline protection from corrosion. The work results gave the possibility to increase the degree of operationability and quality of control decisions made at the dispatching control level of the main pipeline complex. The results can beused at the branch level. The sphere of the results application are the establishments which activity is connected with the complex technological object control in the branches of manufacture, transportation, communication in the scientific-research institutes, design bureau etc.
