Suk S. Management optimization of premature children with retinopathy

Object - retinopathy in premature children . Purpose - To increase the efficiency of premature children treatment with retinopathy by management optimization tactics , diagnostics and laser methods of treatment. Methods: ophthalmoscopy, retinoscopy, eye fundus color photo, optical coherent tomography, laser coagulation on Nd:YAG laser " EYELIGHT " of 532 nm. It was established frequency of retinopathy occurrence in premature children, scientific data are added concerning increase terms of the disease's regress . For the first time it is shown, that use of selective laser coagulation results in frequency decrease of myopia occurrence on 1st year of child's life. Presence of macular structural changes is revealed in group of premature children with spontaneous retinopathy regress with help OCT . Optimum tactics of premature children management optimization is established too. The new method of selective laser coagulation is worked out and applied in children treatment with retinopathy of threshold stage. Results of research are introduced into practice of New-born Child Department of Ukrainian child specialized hospital " OHMATDET ", Kiev Children clinical hospital № 1, Kiev city, Kiev klinical ophtalmological hospital "Center mikrosurgery of eye" Use - medicine, children's ophtalmology.
