Essay

The present thesis is dealing with a new solution of a topical scientific task - to increase the efficacy of treatment of patients with severe course of acute hepatitis B (AHB) by combined use of therapeutic means for intravenous laser blood irradiation (IVLBI) using helium-neon laser. The effect of IVLBI on individual pathogenetical links of severe AHB: gaseous exchange, microcirculation, tissue oxygen supply; immune status, metabolic intoxication. It has been demonstrated that the optimal IVLBI regimen is 5 to 6 session with a 20-25-minute blood exposure to irradiation. It has been established that clinical and biochemical indices characterized in a mediated way IVLBI effect on the pathological process, without reflecting the specificity of its action.
