The object of research is a modern Russian historiography of Ukrainian people's National liberation war in the middle of XVII century. The aim t of research is a analysis of modern Russian historiography of Ukrainian people's National liberation war in the middle of XVII century. The Subjec of research: a modern historiography situation is in-process described round research of National liberation war in Russian science. The methods of research: genetic-history, comparative-history, problem-chronological, system-history. The results of research and novelty: for the first time the modern Russian historiography of Ukrainian people's National liberation war in the middle of XVII century was investigated. It is marked that, without regard to contradiction of modern Russian historiography of problem, there was raised the unique conception of problem. Modern Russian historians has made a large contribution to study of Ukrainian people's National liberation war in the middle of XVII century.
