Shapoval L. Modern Ukrainian and Russian Historiography of New Economic Policy

The object of research is a Ukrainian and Russian popular scientific literature of the history of New Economic Policy. The aim of research: to reveal principal tendencies and regularities of development of historic researches in Ukraine and Russia, to detect methodological foundations and problem subject tendencies, to find out their achievements and disadvantages. The Subjec of research: problem subject priorities of modern Ukrainian and Russian historiography of New Economic Policy, its conception, scientific tendencies, substance and structure of monograph works, methodology, personal contributions of historians in study of the NEP historiography. The methods of research: periodization method, problem chronological, comparative analysis method, retrospective. The results of research and novelty: Theoretical bases and problem subject priorities of Russian and Ukrainian historiography on the NEP history are shown, conceptual principals, common and diverse features in the way the scholars interpretgeneral historical processes of foundation of the Soviet power are singled out, their views on chronology of the stages in the NEP development, the reasons and circumstances of its implementation as well as written literary sources are analyzed. While analyzing history scholars concepts and their scientific foundations, the author of the theses determines their personal contributions into the NEP historiography. The sphere of usage: subsequent development of subject of research, writing of summarizing labours, train aids, during reading of courses of history of Ukraine and state policy.
