Essay

The technology of catalytically active oxides on aluminium from the water solutions by plasma chemical method was developed. Regimes, compositions, mechanism of formation and properties of plasma oxides were investigated. Methods: optical microscopy, metallographic analysis; chronoamperometry and potentiometry; X-ray microscopy; static and dynamic methods of an estimation catalytic reactivity. The conditions of hydroxides sedimentation on the aluminium surface were formulated; the combinations of inorganic polymers and salts with polyvalent anions providing the fast growth of catalytic layers were founded. The general recommendations such as voltage, current mode and density solution composition, temperature and process duration were developed to deposit a complicated oxide composition of polyvalent metals with catalytic properties. The fundamental scheme of plasma oxidation plant, production technology and the construction of pilot equipment were developed. The field of application of plasma catalystswas found.
