Kozyreva M. Listener's Factor in English Non-Official Dialogical Discourse

Object of research - fragments of modern English non-official dialogical discourse with the listener being present. The aim of research - complex study of the listener's factor in English non-official dialogical discourse. Theoretical results and scientific novelty is that it is the first complex listener's factor research based on the material of English non-official dialogical discourse. For the first time the listener's status as the participant of the communicative process is determined using the conceptual apparatus; the typology of the listener in the English non-official dialogical discourse is developed; the influence of the listener's factor on the construction of communicative-interactional models, communicative-contensive and language and speech characteristic features of non-official dialogical discourse is analysed; the speaker's strategies aimed at the listener are studied. Practical value of research: theoretical notions and results gained in the research can be introduced into courses on Theoretical grammar, special courses on the theory of communication, text theory, dialogue theory, lingvo- and sociopragmatics.
