The dissertation is dedicated to improvement of the diagnostics and treatment of the diseases of esophagus-gastroduodenal zone by means of the study of application of 13C-octanoic breath test for the reviling of gastric motility disorders in the diseases of esophagus, stomach and duodenum and prescription of an adequate treatment of such disorders proceeding from the results of 13C-octanoic breath test . The method has sensivity on the level of 94%, specificity - 91%. Noninvasiveness, preciseness, safety for patients and convenience are the advantages of this method.
