Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the role of the piano works of Anatoly Yosypovych Kos-Anatolsky in the style-shaping processes of the latter half of the 20th century. Based on examples of the composer's piano heritage, we have proven that his works - composed under the conditions of official Socialist realism (especially in the period of the 1950s-60s) - can today be rightfully considered as examples of early Ukrainian musical postmodernism.
