Kartashan O. Organization and Economic Mechanisms of Investment Activity of Commercial Banks

The thesis is dedicated to research theoretical and methodological principles of investment activity of commercial banks and to develop mechanism of their realization. On the basis of conducted researches of investment activity of commercial banks are offered their evaluation influence methods and a model of complex evaluation in groups of financial-economic exponents that characterizes the investment possibilities of commercial banks, and the stability of theirs investment potential. There has been made analysis of resource base of commercial banks and determined positive tendencies of their investment activity. There has been made a decision concerning the necessity of constant increase of a specific weight of own capital and increasing the level of capitalization. In the purpose to increase the management efficiency of the investment activity and risks of commercial banks the following steps have been offered: directions of expansion of innovation activity of commercial banks; methods of improvement of legal base that regulate investment activity of commercial banks from the side of State and NBU; a map of risks of commercial banks; management mechanism of risks of commercial banks and methods of their minimization.
