Essay

Subject of research: the intercellular cooperation factors of immune system in patients with chronic urogenital chlamydiosis. The purpose is: to reveal the peculiarities of intercellular factors of cooperation (cytokines, receptors), the level of NO-production in patients with chronic urogenital chlamydiosis and potential influence of the modern immunotropic medicaments erbisol and manaxx on them to develop the new schema of therapy which allows to improve the results of treatment. Methods-immunological (immunoferment, immunofluorescent analysis), microbiological (bacteriological, PCR). Innovation. For the first time were determined the peculiar factors of intercellular cooperation in the immune system (the cytokine production, the expression of receptors to ?-IFN, molecular adhesion, pro- and antiapoptotic marcers) in patients with chronic urogenital chlamydiosis, and the mechanisms acting on them by the new immunomoduling medicaments manaxx and erbisol. Results The peculiar state of cytokine link in the immunity of patients with chronic urogenital chlamydiosis (CUGC) is shown. The CUGC patients demonstrated the declined spontaneous and induced production of g-IFN by T-helpers 1 with the elevated number of cells which carry receptors to lymphokines (CD119+-lymphocytes); the inhanced activity of T-helpers 2 by IL-4 production and the high activity of T-regulatory cells by production of IL-10 and TGF-?. Preferential effect of the modern immunotropic medicaments (manaxx, erbisol) on the cytokine link and NO-production in the CUGC patients was demonstrated. The results were introduced in the Institute of Urology and Nephrology of Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology of National Medical University named after A.A. Bogomolets. Field: medicine (immunology, urology, nephrology, gynecology).
