Shapo V. Methods and tools of wide area computer networks building

Thesis is divoted to solve the problem of wide area computer networks (WACN) building. The goals are vitality enhancement and price decreasing choosing the network topology with necessary vitality and minimum price and rational structure of WACN network equipment. The information model of WACN internetwork and method of matrix presentation of network subscribers traffic are presented for calculation of network traffic volume. It allows to formalize the calculation of WACN nodes integral traffic and channel capacity. For final choice making of WACN channel capacity it's necessary to forecast of WACN development using proposed analytical expressions. The method of WACN topology building is presented which is taking into consideration the price-vitality correlation and allows to build WACN topology with minimum price and specified vitality. Mathematical models of network sluices and method of time transaction calculation through sluices with random structure and internetwork with random number of transitional nodes. Presented methods and technique, which is created on the basis of these methods, are realized in program application InterLAN.
