Essay

The object of study – the Belarus parties and organizations, which worked in territory of Poland in 1921-1939. The purpose of study is research of activity of the Belarus parties and organizations, which promoted upholding of the national rights of Byelorussians and formation of the Byelorussian nation. The methods used in the research are: historical-genetic, historical-logic, comparative-historical, statistical analysis. The practical value of work consists in use of the received results in teaching general and special courses, spelling of the tutorials and monographies on a history of Belarus and Poland, history of a national question in the countries Central and East Europe. The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the activity of the Belarus national parties and the organizations in middlewar Poland. The policy of the assimilation of the Polish governments represented a real threat to the national-cultural originality of the Belarus people. The representatives of the national movement trieddifferent means to prevent the plans of the polonization by Byelorussians. The efficiency of their actions was reduced essentially by the presence of three different currents in the Belarus movement. Constant conflicts which arose between them have not allowed to realize to great extent of the Belarus national movement in Poland which, had been organizational by destroyed by the Polish authority, by the beginning ІІ world war. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that the activity of the Belarus parties and the organizations was one of the major factors, which objectively promoted the growth of the positive national consciousness of Byelorussians.
