Yunoshev O. The forced treatment of drug addiction: criminal, legal and criminological aspects.

The dissertation deals with the legal, criminological and organizational measures for the forced treatment from drug addiction. The author has revealed the etymology of the categories of forced treatment from drug addiction and has made its semantic analysis. The process of setting up the institute of the forced treatment in Ukraine has been researched as well as modern tendencies and peculiarities of its development. The present state of legal regulation of the forced treatment from drug addiction in Ukraine has been analyzed as well as in foreign countries. The criminal characteristics of illicit activity and persons-subjects of the forced treatment, their typological features have been proposed. The reasons and conditions of involving to drug addiction have been investigated as well as the place of the force treatment in the system of prophylactics and prevention of drug addiction and criminality linked with it. The meaning of social rehabilitation of drug users has been defined, and the recommendation for improving the effectiveness of various institution cooperation in solving this matter have been proposed.
