A research object is relations which arise up between academic science and industry in the process of technological development of Ukraine. The subject of research is a complex of theoretical and methodological and practical questions which arise up in the process of co-operating of research institutes of National academy of sciences of Ukraine with production enterprises. Used methods: dialectical, comparison, economic analysis, analysis of the systems, statistical treatment of information, sociological questioning. Complex study of theoretical and practical aspects of impact of academic science on technological development of Ukraine was carried out; on the basis of analysis and systematization of up-to-date approaches to the study of technological development scientifically-methodical approach is developed for complex research of influencing of academic science on technological development of Ukraine taking into account the national features of economic development , which allowed to increase the degree of authenticity of findings and partly to eliminate a lack of official statistical information on technological development of Ukraine; the addressed scientifically grounded recommendations, directed on the acceleration of technological development of Ukraine, are developed. Research results were taken into account during development of perspective and annual plans of marketing activity of private enterprise "Arton", during development of strategic directions for R&D activity of the mentioned enterprise; its used by Science and Technology Center of Ukraine and in the educational process of department of general theoretic and humanitarian disciplines of the International University of Finance.
