Essay

The object - compressed steel and reinforced concrete elements with sheet reinforcement. The aim - development of evaluation methods of stress-strained state and calculation of bearing capacity of compressed steel reinforced elements with sheet reinforcement on the base of experimental and theoretical investigations. The method - experimental and theoretical, that includes choice, analysis of literature sources on the base of which the aim and task of work is formulated, fulfilment of experimental and theoretical investigation of compressed steel and reinforced concrete elements with sheet reinforcement. Practical results - a new kind of compressed elements with sheet reinforcement is suggested, the experimental results concerning bearing capacity of new constructive solution of columns with external sheet reinforcement that provide joint action of concrete with steel sheet were received for the first time, the character of their failure was found, peculiarities of behaviour of longitudinal reinforcement in complex section under load was investigated and it helps to make decision about joint work of construction, how the bearing capacity of compressed steel and reinforced concrete elements depend on height eccentricity of applying force, methods of calculation of bearing capacity and evaluation of stress strained state of centrally and decentrally compressed steel reinforced elements with sheet reinforcement were worked out.
