Pikush Y. Management of bank's competitiveness under market liberalization

The dissertation studies the development of financial globalization, the structure and state of the market of financial, in particular, banking services, as well as liberali-zation of these markets. It determines the interdependency of liberalization and bank-ing competition, the impact of liberalization on competitive position and bank’s com-petitiveness. The paper offers scientific and methodical recommendations for the evaluation of the level of openness of a country’s economy and banking market to foreign capital regarding the positioning of a bank on the market of banking services. The dissertation describes how the liberalization of foreign capital’s access influences the performance indicators of the sector of banking services. The dissertation further develops the organization theory based on the provi-sions of competence-processing as a foundation for competitive development. It provides methodical approaches to the strategic planning of a bank and evaluation of banking competitiveness.
