Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the examination of the essence, regularities of constitution, separation and structurization of private law of Ukraine. The author makes a try to determine both the criteria of separation and essential characteristics of private law as a particular branch of objective law; his own definition of the concept of private law is worded and the correlation of the concepts “private law” and “civil law” is elucidated; the analysis of the system of private law’s structure is made. A set of scientific conclusions as well as proposals to improve Ukraine’s valid legislation are presented.
