Dissertation is dedicated to the research of theoretic-methodological approaches to the planning of bank financial activity and working out material basis for its use. The necessity and specifics of financial planning are characterized. TThe specifics of bank business planning are analyzed, the correlations and mutual stipulations with strategic, tactic, operational and dispositive planning, are found out. Modern trends of using different levels of financial planning by the Ukrainian banking system are determined.
