Essay

61 pregnant women with recurrent infection, caused by the virus of herpes simplex (types 1,2) and 39 women with reactivation of cytomegalovirus infection have been subjected to the clinical, immunological, endocrinological investigation. The significance of immune and endocrine indexes and their influence on the frequency and time of the development of repeated recurrences have been studied. It has been established that herpoviral infections in pregnants are characterized by the predominance of non-specific syndromes, a high rate of obstetric complications. Recurrences run without symptoms or with few symptoms under the background of a high rate of exacerbations of somatic diseases and secondary immunodeficiency with hormonal disbalance. The advisability of application of antihomotoxic therapy has been proved.
