Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the study of pathogenetic mechanisms of arthropathies on the basis of analysis the clinico-immunological indexes in patients with arthropathies, related with hypothyroidism or with concomitant osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Disturbance of cellular and humoral immune system, increase of TNF-alfa in serum and disturbance of functional ability of blood immune cells to production of TNF and IFN take part in development of arthropathies. The expressiveness of these changes depends on character and severity of joints' pathology. The increase TNF-alfa in serum can be used for early diagnostic of destructive changes in joints. The addition to complex treatment of nonsteroid anti-inflammatory drugs and hondroprotectors in patients with hypothyroid arthropathies leads to normalization of immune indexes and cytokines' production.
