Dissertation is devoted to the theoretical research and practical aspects of using financial-institutional instruments of management by the risks of foreign economic activity. Dissertation includes the definition of the essence, summarizing classification of the risks of foreign economic activity. It is offered the conception of dividing the instruments of management by the risks on traditional and untraditional with determination of the essences and advantages and disadvantages of using of their. The peculiarities of using of optional and futures contracts as financial instruments of management by the risks of foreign economic activity are analyzed.Methodological recommendations for effective using of financial instruments by national subjects of foreign economic activity are perfected. Organizational recommendations for the implementation in Ukraine the systems of insurance of export credits as institutional instrument of management by the risks are processed and substantiated.
