In dissertation results of studying of a thyroid homeostasis at iron deficiency anemia are submitted. At iron deficiency anemia functional state of a thyroid gland, peripheral conversion of a thyroid hormones and thyroid-stimulating function of a hypophysis are reduced. With the age and increase of a severity of disease increased degree of changes of a thyroid homeostasis. The opportunity of use potassium iodide and l-thyroxin is proved in pathogenetic treatment patients with iron deficiency anemia
