Medytskyy I. Effect of social factors of criminality in conditions of formation of the Ukrainian state

The dissertation is devoted to the question of influence of social factors on the dynamics and structure of criminality in Ukraine. By means of the analysis of scientific works of lawyers, the domestic legislation and the lead questioning the author opens the matter of the major processes which occured in our society during the last decade and their interrelation with the criminal situation in the state. The work offers suggestions concerning bringing to life the actions of general social and special criminological preventive influence on criminality with the purpose of reduction of its level. A number of additions to the criminal legislation in force in Ukraine by means of acceptance of legal acts which would have significant precautionary effect are offered.
