Both analytical and experimentally interrelations between sets of singular points of a vector field and traditional its averaged characteristics are established. The systems of the Poynting singularities are introduced for the field of general kind. Both analytical and experimentally the interrelations between Poynting singularities and traditional optical ones are considered.
