Dissertation presents the theory of musical temporality in connection with the research of S.V.Rachmaninov’s fortepiano creation. His fortepiano creation is examined in unity of its composer's and performer’s sides, that allows to expose the through system value of temporality in the fortepiano poetics of composer. The base methodological value of the O.Loseva studies about musical time is brought to light. All its positions become theoretical pre-conditions of musicological and performer’s stylistic analysis.
