Sukach V. Synthesis and transformations of 2,3(3,4)-dihydro-1,3-azin-4(2)-ones and their condensed analogues

The thesis is devoted to developing effective synthethic methods for preparation of the new functionalized derivatives of 2,3(3,4)-dihydro-1,3-azin-4(2)-ones and their condensed analogues and also to studying the chemical transformations of such systems. With this end in view two methodologies for constructing of the dihydro-1,3-azine ring were applied. In the course of investigation new recyclizations of 2,3-dihydro-1,3-thiazin-4(1H)-ones into 2,3-dihydropyrimidin-4(1H)-ones and 2,3-dihydrothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4(1H)-ones into 2,3-dihydrothieno[3,4-d]-pyrimidin-4(1H)-ones were found. The regularity between the nature of 1-chloroalkyl isocyanates and regioselectivity of their cyclocondensations with cyanthioacetamides, cyclic 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds, ?-aminocrotonates and S,N(N,N)-nitroketenacetals was revealed. The obtained results have enabled us to develop novel approaches to the synthesis of potentially bioactivite 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones, which are hardly accessible by other methods.
