Kozyreva V. Criminal sanctions of property nature under the legislation of Ukraine

The thesis is dedicated to review of theoretical and practical issues related to criminal sanctions of property nature under the new legislation of Ukraine. The essence and the aim of property imposition have been examined.The history of development of this type of sanctions in national legislation has been analyzed. A comparative analysis of property sanctions imposition in criminal legislations of separate European countries, the USA and Japan has been performed. Great attention is paid to legal analysis of property sanctions, their interrelation and crimes, which are subject to their practical application. Fine, community service, restrictions for servicemen, property confiscation are offered to be assigned to property sanctions. Based on the results of this research, a number of theoretical conclusions have been enunciated, and recommendations as for improvement of legal regulations and imposition of property sanctions under the criminal legislation of Ukraine have been proposed.
