Yakimova S. The criminological and profit-motivated crimes prevention on a railway transportation (on the materials of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on Lviv's Railway)

This dissertation is the complex criminological research of theoretical and applied problems of the prevention of profit-motivated crimes on a railway transportation at the present stage of its development. The author's interpretation of profit-motivated crimes on a railway transport and their criminological classification is offered. Statistical supervision has allowed to reveal a number of characteristic attributes of different kinds of profit-motivated crimes on a railway transport and persons who have comminuted them. The reasons and conditions of profit-motivated crimes on a railway transport are student and investigated. The basic criminological directions to prevention of profit-motivated crimes on a railway transportation are emphasized. Having paid attention to theoretical generalizations, expert estimations and historical experience of fighting against crimes on a railway transportation, the basic ways of improvement of the prevention of profit-motivated crimes on a railway transportation aredetermined.
