Borovska R. The results of the oceanographic and fisheries researches of the Black and Azov Seas on the basis of satellite information

Research object is the area of the Black and Azov Seas. The objective is research of patterns of the Black Sea upwelling; flows in the Kerch Strait; ice conditions in the Sea of Azov; phenomena of hypoxia and fish kill on the base of satellite information. Estimation of impact of environmental factors on the basin bio- and fish productivity. The research methods are index approximation of baric fields, correlation and colligative methods. Theoretical and practical results are as follows. The possibility to control parameters of hydrophysical processes from the Earth satellites was shown, their influence on forming of commercial fish accumulations was estimated, empiric dependences were suggested. The novelty is oceanographic research of upwelling for the whole Black Sea perimeter, system of flows in the Kerch Strait, obtaining of new evidence on ice conditions in the Sea of Azov; exposure of the areas staggered by hypoxia from the satellite, prognosis. Degree of application: they are applied in the Southern Scientific Research Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography. The sphere of the use is safety of navigation; increase of operation efficiency of the fishing fleet and operative search of commercial objects; problems of industrial prognostication and ecology.
