Essay

The thesis presents parameters and methods of improving stability of underground workings by way of creation of reinforced rock-and-concrete structures in the wall rocks with poor metamorphization. In results of theoretical, laboratory and experimental tests regularity of physical processes were defined in areas close to pre-mining workings when self-stressing grouting mortars and anchors are used. Taking into account factors influencing stability of the workings, method of building of reinforced rock-and-concrete shells is suggested. Priority of the method is protected by patent of Ukraine. Method for creation of reinforced rock-and-concrete load-carrying structures was designed for mining roadways and open-line tunnels and introduced in Yubileinaya mine of corporation “Pavlogradugol” and in Dnipropetrovs’k underground with economic effect UAH 245.3 and UAH 345.2 per running meter of the underground mining, respectively
