Essay

The dissertation deals with a study of the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the microflora of the stomatopharynx and the cavity of the large intestine, the parameters of systemic immunity and ascertaining the efficacy of using bifiform and biosporin in multimodality treatment of patients with influenza. Persistence of pathogenic and opportunistic microflora has been established in the stomatopharynx in patient examinations against a background of large intestinal dysbacteriosis of degrees I-III with simultaneous immunodeficiency status the latter being conclusive to the onset of bacterial complications, a prolongation of reconvalescence, during a more severe course of such infectious disease as influenza. The dysbiotic disorders of large intestinal cavity microflora later on viral infection which conditioned by the viruses of influenza's types A/H3N2, A/H2N2 have been appeared on background of decrease of the systemic immunity and nonspecific anti infectious protection. The inclusion of biosporin and bifiform in holiatry of patients with influenza positively influences on the dynamics of microbiological, clinico-laboratory and immunological indices that substantiates the expediency of prescribing these probiotics in case of influenza.
