The dissertation is devoted to analyses of digital telephone network quality characteristics and their improving under convergence of telecommunication networks. Digital telephone network quality characteristics and influenced factors under interworking between telephone network and mobile and packet networks were analyzed and generalized. Methodic of definite service quality characteristics such as answer seizure ratio ASR and network efficiency ratio NER is improved. In result of experimental research, accuracy of calculations mathematical expectation, dispersion, variation ratio and probability distribution function of call duration for international, toll and local connections in telephone network and for connections between telephone and mobile and packet networks is advanced. It is shown, probability distribution of call duration as Zipf's low for international, toll and local connections in telephone network and for connections between telephone and packet networks, and as Weibull's low for connections between stationary telephone and mobile networks are closer to empirical distribution. Methodic of calculating numbers of connection lines in telephone network under interworking between telephone network and mobile and packet networks taking into account experimental dispersion of traffic intensity is improved. The area of implementations is the telecommunication systems.
