Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the research of communicative model of narrative discourse in the prose by Yu.Kosach, I.Kostetsky, and V.Domontovych. Analisis of narrative discourse, its communicative model, innertextual schems and intertextual dialog with other authors’ strong and week compositions revealed such common features in the prose by Yu.Kosach, I.Kostetsky, V.Domontovych:interference of narrator’s and character’s voices,narrator’s point of view replacing by the character’s one, active adoption and reinterpretation of various cultural myths, images, themes etc. These features are more natural in the prose by I.Kostetsky and V.Domontovich being less frequent in the novels and short stories by Yu.Kosach. Nevertheless, the writers tried to experiment with traditional narrative structures.
