The object: Gerhart Hauptmann's dramaturgy. The objective of the dissertation is the research of genre and style peculiarities of Gerhart Hauptmann's drama in the frame of interliterature process of the end of XIXth century - beginning of the XXth century. The practical value of the re-search lies in the possibility of using while lectur-ing on literature studies and on the history of the German literature of the end of XIXth century - beginning of the XXth centuries.
