Essay

Thesis contains results of comprehensive investigations of optical spectra of exciton-phonon and two phonon transitions in tetragonal girotropic crystals ZnP2, CdP2 and TeO2, and also development of a technique of creation nanoparticles of АІІВV2 and АІІВV4 compounds in zeolite matrix. The compounds АІІВV2, were synthesized and monocrystals ?-ZnP2 and CdP2 were grown; their photoluminescence, absorption and Raman spectra are measured. The nanoparticles ZnP2, CdP2, CdP4 and ZnAs2 were obtained in zeolite matrixes Na-X from a gas phase. Method of projective representations were used to determine selection rules for exciton-phonon and two phonon transitions; the number of nonzero components of momentum and number nonzero components of inverse effective mass tensor in all high symmetry points in crystals which belong to point group 422. On the basis of these calculations it was assumed that a minimum of a conducting band in crystals ?-ZnP2 and CdP2 is in a vicinity of point M. Also interpretation of twophonon spectrum of parapellurite is suggested. For the first time methods of projective representations and projective operator were applied to concideration gyrotropy in crystals of symmetry Р41212 and Р43212 and to explanation of Raman circular dichroism.
