Essay

The dissertation is devoted to validation of complex ultrasound examination application for the control of chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis course, particularly the Dopplerography indexes of bloodflow in the vessels of hepatobiliary area. Dopplerography manifestation of chronic hepatitis, such as increasing of arterial and vein vessels’ diameters, acceleration of bloodflow in them, are evaluated, with maximal indexes in the active phase of process. Early Dopplerography signs of liver cirrhosis are evaluated, such as increasing of peak systolic and end diastolic speeds of arterial blood stream. It is established that the decreasing of time average and volume velocities in portal and hepatic veins, the Resistant Index increasing in intrarenal arteries are characteristic for the liver cirrhosis progress. It is estimated, that from a basic five types of portal haemodynamics – hypo- and pseudonormokynetic types are the most frequent according to the growth of portal hypertension and liver failure.
