Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the perfection of the childrens' dyspepsia diagnostics on the grounds of complex appraisal of clinical-laboratory and instumental indexes for the clear differentiation between the functional dyspepsia (FD) and dyspepsia syndrome (DS). The motor-evacuatory function of the stomach (MEFS) in children with FD and DS was evaluated for the first time by non-invasive and highly informative ultrasound method by Lemeshko Z.A. Prognostic criteria were suggested by multi-factor analysis in the evaluation of histological picture of the stomach's mucous membrane in studying the condition of vegetative nervous system in order to distinguish the group of children with increased risk of the development of pre-organic conditions. For the practical use there was developed a table of individual prognosis by Valde for the clear differentiation of children with FD into risk groups concerning the development of organic illnesses of the upper part of digestive system.
