The thesis is devoted to the problems of the remission from the criminal liability in connection with the effective repentance. General issues of the legal regulation mechanism of this remission have been considered, its prerequisite, reason and criminal consequences have been examined. Proposals for the appropriate provision improvement of the existing Criminal Legislation of Ukraine and practice of its usage have been formulated.
