Essay

A dissertation to receiving scientific grade of candidate of technical sciences by specialty 05.14.02 - electric stations, networks and systems. - National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev polytechnic institute", Kiev, 2007. The dissertation is dedicated to the problem of increasing the utilization efficiency of power supply systems (PSS) at the expense reserves detection of the elements of PSS on thermal and dynamic stability to the short-circuit current (SCC). The developed improved probability design model of typical SCC taking into account eight affecting parameters. On the basis of received design values of typical SCC the grade methods of thermal and dynamic stability of power cables and transformers in the regime of short-circuit and also the grade of thermal condition of cable cores, the cores of coils and transformer oil are worked out. The developed methods can be proposed to use in the engineering practice. Key words: power supply system, short-circuit current, thermal model, the admissible probability of excess.
