The dissertation covers with investigation of the relationship between nitrogen-fixing and lectin activity of particular soybean organs under different levels of symbiotic apparatus efficiency, as well as the role of lectins in legume-rhizobial symbiosis formation and functioning. The possibility of practical use of lectins as bioactive substances upon developing of alternative approaches to legumes' productivity control is studied.
